Fair enough, Gaz. But then for every Cahill and Lescott there is a Koumas and Nugent who couldn't make that step.

We wont be buying Ledley now. We were only going to buy Ledley if Ramsay signed for us... purely as an incentive for him to join us as he'd have someone her knew with him... i.e. to help him settle in with him being only a young lad and moving away from home.

I'm not saying Moyes wouldn't have seen Ledley as a decent squad player but he wont persue him now Ramsay has chosen to play for the Arse. It would have been a bit like when we signed Lie Tie and also signed some nomark defender from the same club to help the 'Asian Beckham' settle in

Except that was part of the Kejian sponsorship deal.

I am gutted about Ramsey but wish him the best, i will enjoy watching him play in the years ahead. i thnk the fact Wenger dropped 5 mill on young British talent will tell you the calibre of the lad.

I think Moyes has an intrest in Ledley as we bid in Jan , I think Cardiff will price him out of a move to Goodison.

I honestly thought that this forum was about Evertonians putting their opinions accross. I was wrong. If you look at my opening thread I said i hoped i was wrong. The insults have been terrible. I have no beef with anyone and only want our team to succeed.....Christ I hope we all do. But did we sign him ...NO. Was my opinion on how it was conducted wrong?......maybe....Have I named anyone to have a go at, even though these parties have insulted me......No
I quoted Risdale verbatum from the official efc site. I drew my conclusions from that plus what I have seen happen to this Great Club of our over the past. Maybe I am too old and remember when we were great. In Moyes I truly believe that we can be great again. Now listen.......I AM NOT KNOCKING EFC. I AM LOYAL AND TRUE. I TRAVEL FROM SCOTLAND TO SEE THE BLUES EVERY HOME GAME. I HAVE AN OPINION. IT MAYBE WRONG..BUT I STILL HAVE ONE....If there are people who disagree with an opinion....just say so....please guys, less of the insults.

Hey Harry, I don't think anyone has questonied your loyalty towards the club or said that you're not entitled to your opinion, but what I and others have slammed is your lack fact. You stated that Sir A met with Ramsey and that Moyes did not, when all reports stated the opposite.
Cheer up and I will certainly not want you to leave these boards
