Player Valuation: Free Transfer
Any of you fella's heard anything about a new propose takeover by a foreign investor with a decent amount of wedge?

Apparently BK is listening to this offer and keen for it to go ahead.

A couple of sources have mentioned it is a go-er, just wondered if you had heard anything?

There's supposedly a few billionaire Indians on the lookout though.

Eagle-eyed viewers of Setanta Sports spotted his (Anil Ambani) son, Jai Anmol conversing with Bill Kenwright and Robert Earl, the majority shareholders of English Premier League side Everton FC, during their final preseason game against PSV Eindhoven on 9th August 2008. Kenwright has recently confirmed that the club is looking for investment and is potentially for sale (sources for this include the club's official website) but it is not known if Jai Anmol's presence at the game indicates any interest in acquiring the club or simply reflects social connections

Both Ambani brothers (who incidentally happen to despise each other) and Laskshi Mittal (although his 20% of QPR's prevents him from doing any more at the moment) have been thrown around in the media as interested in investing in clubs, who knows what to believe though.

I don't know if it was a piss-take or not, but someone on Kipper mentioned a Russian tycoon worth 8 billion.

The Indian everyone talked about isn't apparently interested in buying a football club, or that's at least what his PR guy said.
