The ball knowers knew England was doomed in that moment.

Being serious about it England had built the system for the one way Spain could play in that set up and it was problematic when that set up went away. Now fwiw it does speak somewhat to Rodri that teams set up to deny him, but the point for me is how easy it is to have it work and how powerless he can be to fix it.
