Foot pain

Both scenarios aren't a problem. You just need to rest. Not resting makes it worse or you could make it a chronic thing by degrading the quality of your tendons.

I refused to rest (rest=no sports et al, you can walk) so I spent 5 days/week for 2.5 months going to the physiotherapist. There you get frictiontherapy, light electroshocks, multiple stretching exercises, and some sort of strange heel to lessen the pressure on the tendon, lots of ice.

So just rest and you'll be fine. Losing weight also helps.
That's the only solution. To the head, not the foot.

Reluctantly putting this out there. Sadly ample sawdust has not worked.

I have a pain in my foot, down the outside of my left foot. Hurts when i walk on it and seems to intensify the more i walk on it. Wearing shoes seems to make it worse as well for some reason.

I kinda walked around 5 miles to work yesterday fast paced which is where it started and gradually got worse in the day. Seems to hurt more than yesterday as well. Part of the top of my foot is sore if you poke it but where the pain is the outside, more towards my ankle on the top is where it seems to be sore on touch. Slight ache in it as well .

So what is it? Google seems to narrow down on a few different things, Peronial tenderitis or a stress fracture seem to be in the ball park. From anyone's experience, have you had similar? What did it end up being?
How did you get home ?

A quick recap for new joiners:

Gets caught fare dodging (blames it on employer), buys weekly ticket

Loses weekly ticket, has to walk 5 miles to work cos can't afford another ticket

Hurts foot, gets bus home

Won't go to hospital to get it fixed, comes here to complain.
I wasn't complaining i was seeing if anyone had similar experiences and perhaps would tell me if it was serious or not.

One is fixed with crutches, the other with an ice pack and rest!

Gout.

haha it isn't gout, i'm not 65!

Whatever it is, it was caused by doing an excessive (for me) exercise and potentially also caused by not having adequate shoes on for said activity.

It isn't gout, not a pensioner
You don't have to be a pensioner to get gout mate.

However the long walk, crap shoes combo might be the more likely scenario
