I wanted Browning to start this game, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't start vs Man U either. I think Martinez is going to take his time introducing him into the first team but I expect him to have firmly replaced Hibbert by January as our second choice RB. I gotta disagree with you @bluegirl, I can't see Ossie sitting deep. This will be his usual 4-2-3-1 formation with Ossie in the hole. For me the biggest question marks with this team aren't Ossie and Hibbo, it is McGeady and Atsu. Neither of them have been up to much and we will need both of them with Mirallas being out for who knows how long.

Strong team. Maybe Martinez wants qualification for the next round sorted ASAP. Then he can rest all the top players once qualification has been secured.

Seriously worried about the midfield. It will definitely get overrun, Barry + McCarthy + Osman = No legs and add McGeady and Atsu to that who arent exactly the most defensive minded players. 1-1 draw im hoping for but hopefully we sneak it 1-0.

For him to have a mediocre game and get a roasting from the fans because he only completed 3 passes this week. Can't we all just calm down on him. Martinez will select a young player if he see's they are ready to make the next step. An away game in a banana skin of a european match needs a bit of experience. I'm NO fan of Hibbert but that was the right selection tonight IMO

Didn't even see the game so nope. Just would have afforded him a start especially as he'd be alongside our 3 main defenders in a game that's not exactly make or break so I'm sure he'd be fine. If he's getting roasted (Hibbert never gets roasted, does he?) just take him off at HT.

Would also add a bit of pace to a team that's lacking it.

Agree. We need atsu or mcgeady (both would be nice) to step up in mirallas's absence.
