Just did a quick check and I am showing $292 for flights to the Chicago game (there and back) add in a hotel for a night and I can realisticly expect to spend $420 before the price of a ticket! I am pretty sure the wife won't buy that when less than a month later kid #3 is expected to arrive.
Why couldn't they play in the North East!!!!!

I was considering flying up to Colorado to see the match against the Rapids but decided to hold off.
You'll enjoy the match though as I've been to several Everton preseason matches in the States the last few years including:
Everton vs. Club America in Houston
Everton vs. Pachuca in Houston
Everton vs. Club America in Dallas
Everton vs. RSL in Salt Lake.
Loved every one of 'em.
One of these days, hopefully they'll be back to Houston to play the Dynamo (in which case, I'll be wearing my Everton kit, not Dynamo...)

That would be possible but I was thinking more along the lines Everton kit with Everton hat.
My real issue would be do I sit where I have my season ticket or do I sit with the Everton supporters who would undoubtedly make the trip?
Right now, if it were to happen, I'd have to say that I'd sit with the Everton supporters.
Reminds me of a funny story but when we were at the preseason match against Salt Lake last year, one of the RSL supporters groups was sitting in the section right next to ours. At the start of the match, they all started chanting and yelling while one guy was banging his drum.
He was banging that drum a good ten minutes into the start of the match and then he stopped. There was a bit of an odd silence until you hear this Evertonian yell out, "Play it again !!!"
Had both sets of supporters laughing out loud.

I don't but if you call the Chicago Fire ticket office, they'll tell you which section they've reserved for Everton supporters.
You could buy your ticket from them while you're on the phone with them.
They'll mail it to you or you can pick it up at will call.
