fixtures 20/21

Last season proved the order of the fixtures don't matter, we couldn't have had a better run on about 9 of those first 10 games and managed to mess the start of the season up massively. If there aren't a few new signings by the end of August which would give a couple of weeks for them to get settled in to the squad with a bit if training we're screwed again.

We can't rely on this squad to get us through the first month or so of the season if we're going to have to wait until towards the end of the window in October for most of the transfer activity to happen. The way how they played after the restart will be no different if that's the case.

Just have to hope we can get some deals done asap. That added to the fact we know we're barely going to get inside Goodison to see the games this year normally there's a bit of excitement around the new fixtures announcement but this year just not feeling it at all. Which is such a shame with what we should be looking forward to with Ancelotti.

A very rare point against United in them days. And Richard Gough’s debut.
Strange season 1999/2000. Should have done the double over the RS.

That was 2000/01 wasn’t it? Lost 2-0.... me Dad wouldn’t let us go, as he went with the lads so I went to Southport Pleasureland.... think we know who had the better day lol

99/2000 was United H 1-1 wasn’t it?
It was, didn’t we equalise in the last minute iirc

Imagine we didn't mess up the easy start.. We'd still have Silva and not Ancholotti.
