I hope I'm looking at this wrong but I've noticed a similar pattern in the last 3 games: player fitness. I could be wrong but against Fulham in the second half we wasn't good enough an started to look tired as the second half progressed. Newcastle: well, we were 3 up at half time and ended up at 3-2 with a poor second half performance (compared to the 1st anyway) Man City, first half we played well and were largely involved in the game. Second Hal we were left behind as City stepped it up and put us to the sword with their excellent football matched with sharp fitness and conditioning. I can't be the only one noticing a reoccurring pattern, we seem to be waning a bit second half and performances in the last 45 have been "different" to the first, so to speak.
It may not be fitness related, it could be something else, but I wonder what it is because it is 3 games on the run.
