First name on the team sheet?

With so many players out of form or injured and a new manager in charge it’s difficult to predict our starting 11 at the moment. Who would be the first name on your team sheet and why?

(Apart from Pickford to make it interesting)

(And don’t choose Baines if it’s just by default)

I’m going with Davies. His energy and drive in midfield will be key to us turning our form around IMO.

Coleman, if not Pickford.

Barkley if Unsy brings him back into the fold.

By results, you're stuck with Wayne. Getting three points requires a goal. Getting a point requires a goal if the back four make an error.

Wayne is the player most likely to put the ball into the goal. and by a significant margin.

That's actually a hard one...

Assuming we're leaving injured players out (because Barkley and Coleman would top the list), then probably Lookman strangely.

When you have game changers like that who are developing and showing clear talent, I think you give them every chance to show it and that's done by showing confidence in them and giving them a consistent run. I personally would say "right, for the next 10 games, he starts no matter what and we'll review after that."
