Let the right one in
Everybody loves vampire films right? Lost Boys still gives me butterflies. Mmmmmmm, Star.
Tomas Alfredson's swedish pointy-toothed effort is, however, a pretty unusual addition to the already bulging vampire shelf.
With a pace slower than Fellaini with a hamstring problem this remarkable film trundles along as two 12 year olds - with quite different problems - meet and form an unusual, yet very tender, friendship.
A thoughtful film which eschews the usual claret-and-offal of typical vamp flicks - prefering to leave the gory details to the viewers imagination. An utterly pointless Hollywood remake is already in production.
