FIFA banning poppies

As my surname no doubt betrays, had I been good enough to play football at international level I could have played for either England or Ireland. Obviously that would have been a tough choice but, once I'd made it (And I honestly don't know what that choice would have been), I would have stuck with it.

Play for whoever you want, but make that choice early and don't string another country along like young Mr Grealish did

Rooney could have played for Scotland if he'd wanted. They came to him and he politely and quickly told them no. He'd didn't drag it out. He went for a meeting, said he'd stay English, job was a gooden

I agree entirely Mikey. Make your decision and stick with it. As an NI fan we've lost too many players far too long into their development. It's wasted time and money.

Is he a bigot? No probably not. Do I like to insinuate he is for bites? Yes at times where I feel I might get them.

Do I care about players defecting to play for the South? Not particularly no. It's just symptomatic of where I've grown up.

Do I think it's acceptable to play numerous times at 21 level before deciding? No. That does somewhat annoy me.

I could according to FIFA, if I was good enough that is. England, Ireland or Spain.

Spain because my grandfather was Spanish, if I did play for Spain I'd class myself as a traitor and rightfully so.
