More to it than meets the eye.

Firstly, the black lad robbed a story earlier in the morning.

Secondly, he was with an accomplice who "witnessed" the shooting but neglected to mention anything about the robbery. The truth of his witness account is very suspect.

Thirdly, the cop involved had no history whatsoever of being trigger happy and has given a very different story about what happened.

Not saying he wasn't killed unlawfully, but reluctant to jump to a conclusion. This could easily be "reverse racism" in action.

Doesn't fit the narrative mate.

I'm sure the cop just saw that the kid was black and decided to end his life.

At the root of all of this is intolerance. it's a huge problem in the US and it's showing itself in incidents across the country. It comes equally from both sides of every issue - justice, inequality, education, economics, government, religion, culture, environment and on and on.

Until we find a way to overcome intolerance including the underlying ignorance, lack of rational, logical, and critical thinking, I can only see things getting worse.

Not ever gonna happen good sir. I hate to say it but we've pretty much passed the point of no return over here when it comes to intolerance.

I haven't completely given up on us yet.

To validate my optimism I will be tolerant of you calling me and assuming I am a sir. :D

Haha...sorry about that. Had no idea.

I don't want to give up on it either but EVERYDAY, I read or hear about stories where intolerance is front and center and it just doesn't seem to be getting any better. It really is that bad here.

Was swerving this, as I wasn't interested in what Fergie was up to now.

Then I saw the summary given by John Oliver (Last Week Tonight), and realised the actual subject.

Sounds like a nice place. They charged a man they beat up by mistake for criminal damage because he bled on their uniforms.
