Nonsense - in North America most of the population damage had already been caused by the Spanish (or rather the diseases brought by them), and in any case the thirteen colonies occupy a tiny proportion of what the US currently is. As for Southern Africa, yes outrages went on everyone (including Shaka) was at it. To suggest that the British carried out "the only true genocide" is ludicrous.

In both places entire indigenous tribes were obliterated. Not sure what you consider genocide to be, but I am pretty sure being completely wiped out as a tribe, nation etc counts. So, nonsense eh? How does that work?

i work in london with youths who are harrassed, abused, searched, humiliated and treated like second class citizens constantly by the police for no other reason than being black. So, i will have to disagree with you there.

At the root of all of this is intolerance. it's a huge problem in the US and it's showing itself in incidents across the country. It comes equally from both sides of every issue - justice, inequality, education, economics, government, religion, culture, environment and on and on.

Until we find a way to overcome intolerance including the underlying ignorance, lack of rational, logical, and critical thinking, I can only see things getting worse.
