I'm a big fan of Alex Scott & Rachel Brown when they are on screen pundits but for some reason I'm not keen on female commentators for male football yet I'm fine with it for female football.

Personally I find higher pitched voices grating so it turns me off certain female commentators. I don't think it's a gender thing the general quality of punditry at the minute is poor across the broad.

TBF cricketers do tend to make better pundits across the board.

I must be commentatorist, I think the vast majority are terrible and only commentate because they can't do anything in football of value.

There's that, but also they only hire people who have been world class, captains of the country etc not an ex-Chester centre half passing on advice to a Premier League champion about how to defend.
