I'm saying nothing here other than I wish there was a channel where you just get pitchside noise. No commentators male, female not even those who identify as a frying pan. Just the togger with nobody to ruin it chatting bubbles or screaming their 'notice me' emotional responses at me. No rasping voices, no hideous loud accents - just the game.

Before women's football became popular I watched a few england ladies games at grounds. The stadia were mainly filled with young girls* - probably mainly because schools were offered tickets. It was quite a pleasant sound - like sparrows.

*not why I was there! I was coaching school girls teams at the time and went with them.

Just watching the Wolves game and she's already p'd me off enough to make me switch off! I don't believe I'm sexist but surely there are better qualified co-commentators out there???

For anyone who watched it she said said "surely he should have tried to pull it back there?"

It was blatantly obvious he tried to do just that!!

I think you are implying that by “better qualified” color commentators you mean male ones.

Consider this.....luminaries like Robbie sodding Savage are regularly featured as colors and I have yet to hear the woman who is any worse than him.

Only one I like is that Bianca Westwood but thats down purely to her sexy accent - could listen to her talk dirty for hours on end.

I've already agreed with a similar post previous mate! Plenty of guilty male Co commentators out there.
