Only just got the news out here in Portugal. Shocked and delighted. surely this mush have something to do with a takeover. buzzing now........ Pass the super bock

I'm glad he's signed because he's a top player when he's in form, even if he has been a bit inconsistent so far this season.

I don't think this really indicates wether a takeover is imminent or not. It may well do but it the board would want to tie down Fellaini anyway, as he's one of our best players and it'd send out the wrong signal to our squad if he left for another club after the amount of players the club has moved on over the last couple of years.

There's never a down side when one of your best young players signs a new deal. Nothing but good can come of it.

Happier than a fat pig rolling in a fresh pile of sh^t. Hope this is the dam bursting on a flood of good news. Now let's smash Wolves and get three points on Saturday!

It's good he's signing, but in the back of my mind, experience shows that contracts are often not worth the paper they are written on.

Love felli bigtime but feel that it's a novelty gesture these days in sport.

Signing this contract doesn't mean he'll stay, but does mean we hopefully will get a good price if he does choose to move on, and not get shafted.

That's it in a nutshell. There'll be no Pienaar run-down of the clock and Everton will get a reasobnable amount for him when money bags clubs are ready to take him. We wait and see what it means beyond that. It could mean that other players like Rodwell and Barkley see this and decide that they'll stay too; it could equally mean that one of them will go if we cant get decent money for players like Heitinga and Bilyaletdinov in the next couple of windows.
