can't find that post anywhere now. Really want to

It's a win win situation for us. We keep him for years & watch him ooze quality, or we get decent money for his transfer.

Best news so far this season. Now we just need to get Barkley, Distin & Drenthe to follow suite.

I think I mentioned this in another thread a few weeks back - I reckon we've just signed up our future captain as the foundation for a burgeoning academy pipeline. In 3 years time you could imagine a 'seasoned' but young and full of potential team of Felli, Rodders, Barkley, Dier, Mustafi, Vellios, Coleman, Neville ;-), maybe even Drenthe. There are several other young'uns with apparent Premier potential still to come through (eg. Bidwell, Garbutt, Green...). And if we dare to dream of a bit of funding from a new owner, some other star quality names sprinkled in.

I can't help thinking that Moyesie has sold this picture to Felli and he, seeing the potential there before his own eyes, has signed up.

Plus 70 grand a week like...

I may be the most eternal romantic optimist in Blue land but I have for a few weeks been thinking that the only thing that would keep fellaini here in january would be that if he saw we were moving forwards with new owners and investment and ambition........just a thought.........

Well done to th eblue union on this, clearly a reaction to the unbelievable pressure brought to bear on the board.

Delighted tbh, if nothing else it gaurentees us some wonga.

Has he gone on Artetas wages? I just read he is the highest paid player at the club.
