To be fair, Lucas has been pretty good in the last 18 months or so.

Before that he was clearly the worst Brazilian since David Blunkett tried to shave his bird's foof.

In fairness Jimmy Mc had an alright game, Fellaini was on form but to say hes the best?? he still doesnt command the game in the way say Carsley did. i do think hes got potential but lets not get carried away, one good game does not a season make.

Fellani has been immense this season. I like a wind-up as much as anyone but Lucas is waaaaay behind Fellani.

Yeah in averageness. Lucas is a brilliant player mate. Why can't you admit it? Is it just coz he plays for them? Need to stop letting your bias affect your football knowledge.

Felli has been excellent since gibsons arrival. He is not world class but he is quality, to be world class you need to be really special the phrase gets bandied about too easily, everton do not have any world class players i'm afraid but we have some solid internationals. why even are we talking about lucas leiva ffs. also why does the forum keep degenerating into slanging matches between certain posters constantly its becoming tedious, this used to be a friendly forum now its very cynical and argumentative but in a bad way not debate.
