Fellaini

I would play Fellaini, Pienaar, Saha and Heitinga on their own.
The rest of the team simply get in their way.

I'd add Baines to that list. At the moment these five seem to have the desire to make a game of it. Trouble is everyone else is fielding eleven not good odds for us. Moyes needs to light a fire under a few of the underacheivers.

the big fella was my man of the match sunday, thought he was immense. lots of energy, up and down the pitch, physical and distributed it well. him and jonny absolutely bossed their midfield.

i like him in the centre- i think jonny and him could be a great combo.

It's good to see him produce....hopefully he can find the consitency now. That goes for the team aswell.
Passion and pride was shown, which has been lacking.

Howard, Baines ? Come on mate your exaggerating just a lil bit ;)

How does Howard come into your thoughts here as a player holding the team together?
Surely you've noticed how many we have conceded this season both in League and cups.

Baines has been garbage most of the season, and still isn't firing on all cylinders.

Distin started well, but looks uncomfortable at the moment.

Yobo is also making mistakes.

Hibbert has actually been fairly decent to be fair to the lad.

Rodders started well but has faded badly.

Neil has had one good game.

Gosling has been ineffective.

Cahill totally struggling to find success.

Jo has been uninspiring for many matches

Yakubu looks like he is in need of more reserve matches to get up to steam.

Only Fellaini, Saha, Pienaar and Heitinga have filled me with any confidence.

I agree with some of that. Your actually forgetting the utter gash game that Fellaini had in Benfica, where he allowed his runners to score at least 2 of the goals.

Pienaar has also had a few average games.

So for me, only Howard, Saha and Heitinga have played well and it could be said that Saha has had a few average games.

Basically the entire squad is short on form and short on confidence. They all need a boost in some way. Im sure Moyes has tried the ripping into them tactic, now its time for the arm around the shoulder.

Played well, didn't think he was outstanding by any means. His derby performance was much better, today was more of a low key performance.

But good for him, hopefully can build on it. He's got a long way to go in terms of convincing me he's anything more than decent.
