Would people be prepared to loose Mofro, if it meant keeping Baines, 26mill and Barckley getting mins week in week out - suplemented by Rodwell, Gibbo, Cahill, Nev etc?
Who are we getting for 26m is the question and how much going to the bank ?

I would rather lose Baines than Fellaini any day of the week.
Even in a hypothetical way it could be good or bad depending on what happens with the proceeds. Same with any transfer really. That was my point. I can't take any rumour seriously until the club confirm a departure or I see them in the royal blue shirt with a scarf over their head
True but they are more fitting for the defensive midfielder role, Fellani is more useful when given more attacking freedom imo and can't see him being played DM.
He can do any job in midfield and excels at DM too. Who do you think breaks up most attacks for us?
What is it with loads of Evertonians now saying that Fellaini is an ACM just because he played a few games there at the end of the season, or just because Moyes throws him up there sometimes. It's getting on my t*ts.
He's a defensive midfielder ffs, and that is easily his best position.
All these people with their "Fellaini isn't good enough to play in the hole" crap, thats because he's a DM.
THIS FFS.
He's decent in the hole, but he's one of the best defensive midfielders in THE WORLD. Why move him from a position where he dominates to one where he's okay ? Just buy a damn attacking midfielder.
simple PRICE
you can pick up a decent DM these days for under 10m, a world class DM for around 15m, i.e. what we paid for fellaini in the first place.
a box to box midfielder fetches around 25m, hence why moyes is trying to play him there, he knows leaving him as a DM wont bump up his price, fellaini has already said he want Cl at some stage in his career and this is moyes way of making sure we get a good price,
only problem is once he gets into the opposition half he is about as effective as cahill is right now.
You need to stop living in this world where every player fits neatly into a single box or category. You find me a player of Fellaini's calibre defensively who has been sold for £15m, you won't.
How you can say £15m is the figure for a 'world class' defensive mid is beyond me. It's simply not true.
