Top drawer stuff so far, McCarthy has stepped up bigtime today. McGeady has done some good work tracking back and Baines is on it, looking to fire it into Lukaku all the time. Speaking of which, Lukaku's touch has come on.

Couldn't pick a better time to score the second goal. What a first half performance - everyone has looked good. Really, really sharp play, unrecognisable from the dross against Leicester.

Could do with Rom getting another goal just to send him on a goal scoring blitz, and then Eto'o to come on and get one.

he started off sluggishly, but has grown into the game - he's never always consistent, but he's far far far more consistant than what you expect from a winger for £6m, he's showing the consistency that sees wingers go for about £20m (unless liverpool are trying to buy them).

mcgeady has been the only off player so far for us, but we can still play better
