Hope not!!! I'd play Coleman at right back but if he rests him I'd like to see Besic there over Hibbert.

Don't see any need to change the back five from Saturday though, they kept a clean sheet!!!!

That was just my guess at Chico's jarg line up.

I think we'll see something like

Robles
Coleman-Distin-Stones-Baines
Barry-McCarthy
McGeady-Naismith-Atsu
Lukaku
If we're 3-0 up after 60 minutes ( I can dream ) then Eto'o, Gibson and Besic will get game time.

The thing for me is (and shout me down if you like). We're not going to win the league and it will be hard to get 4th this year, although it's possible.

I just don't understand the need to play a weakened team in the cups? It's silverware.

I can honestly see us winning this this year with the squad we've got. We need to play our full side though and be at our best, we also have to win all our home games to have a shot of getting out the group.

This and the FA cup are my priority this year over everything else.

I'd rather finish 10th and win this and get into CL that way.

COME ON EVERTON.

Had we held on and beaten Leicester and Arsenal I think tonight's line up would have been very strong with changes then being made on Sunday and Tuesday but we can't afford to throw more home points away on Sunday (remember Palace last year just about ended our dreams of finishing 4th) and so can see at least Joel, Alcaraz and Gibson starting tonight with Stones at RB instead of Seamus and possibly Lukaku on the bench. It's the defensive changes that worry me as the only position we have any strength in depth is left back.

The selection of the back 4 and GK will determine the result tonight.

Personally I would play my strongest side and then make changes for the CP game.

A defeat tonight hurts confidence and our ambition in this group so our team selection will be critical at the back tonight.

Hope Bobby gets it,s right.

We follow this game with two away ties in the group.
It is imperative we start with a win, must play his strngest team from the off and get the game won, then think about changes.

Osman will 100% start tonight. Which I personally take no issue with as ossie has always been more suited to playing in Europe. The team I would like to see is as follows:

Howard (although Robles will 100% play), coleman, distin, stones, garbutt, Barry, Besic, mirallas, osman, Atsu, eto'o.

I think that would be a decent team that will hopefully get the much needed victory. Rotation is simply a necessity and not a choice in the modern game, particular given the number of games in the Europa league. You have to use your full squad in order to be as competitive as possible on all fronts.
