I don't have the memories that some here do...I can't say I supported Everton when Rideout headed us to an FA Cup, I wasn't even around in the Danka days....

But I'm so proud to be an Evertonian and I pledge my lifelong loyalty. I'm here for the duration.

Great result against a very decent side,good atmosphere there tonight,looked a better crowd than we were expecting,Stones eh?Jags though still putting the frighteners on me!We are looking great going forward,pity about that goal at the end,two clean sheets on the run would have been a great boost,but you couldn't say the krauts didn't deserve it,

don't know if anyone has mentioned this but it was classic when Peter Reid on ITV4 said 'I always felt they were in control. we were talking off camera about Everton's squad. when you look at Barkley coming back, Kone, and Ovee-yoooough-dough coming back'. Lol. Surely it's Oveeeyo-dough. Anyway. Shakes my head. Good result, average performance imo. League is more important to our long-term ambitions and I think we still need to stop being a bit random which I feel we are at times. When we play with two out and out strikers with one as Lukaku and try Barkley and Besic as a two in c/m as an alternative to Barry and McCarthy to rotate the squad I will be in heaven..
