In the very very short time Eto has been at everton,it makes you wonder why so many more teams didnt try for him [however many actually did]

Minor niggles, although there shouldn't be any when we've won 4-1 - I think we let them dictate the tempo for half an hour in the second half when we should have been slowing it down, and gave away too many free in shooting range.

Glad Roberto's taking it seriously and didn't chance any of the fringe players, save that for when we've won the group. And huuuuuuuuuge sigh of relief to see Tim Howard in the team for a cup match.

to be real,the game was won,we eased off a lot,way to much and just invited the pressure as in shot after shot,and then we just had the breakaways when we needed to,

We played on the counter 2nd half. I don't think we can read too much into it.

However they showed they are a good team and will still be a very hard game in Germany although given the group the results tonight definitely make it easier. I think both us and Wolfsburg will go through.

Disappointed for Tim that we conceded. Was a great performance by him. He is really enjoying playing at the moment.

Thought Eto'o is in a class of his own and no matter how old he is, it's a great signing.

McGeady isn't good enough or consistent enough. Would love him to prove me wrong but I'm not sure he'll cut the mustard.

Rodriguez was just greedy getting on the score sheet twice. Naismith should be credited the goal, the ball was heading in to the net.

Anyone think we need to play lukaku and eto'o together? That pass to mirallas is something I think lukaku could really benefit from having eto'o alongside him, maybe when Kone is fit have both up top with Kone as option from bench

Most of their shots on Target I would have blasted Howard if they went in. They had a few good chances second half but we were the better team

We play a procession based game based on pace, flooding forward with midfield and full backs, with the ability to play on the counter when required - plan executed perfectly!

We never looked out of control in that game! Really mature performance!

exactly. most of us would have wanted players like lukaku coming off as soon as the 3rd went in to save them, especially with them not being 100% - we're not liverpool ffs, we know how to see out a 3 goal lead
