Muppets Christmas Carol, always took my daughter to see it

And of course the James Stewart classic, Its a wonderful life, total bullshit but it is Christmas after all is said and done(y)

'Miracle on 34th Street' was on the other week. i told my youngest daughter ( aged 9 ) that i saw it when i was her age and that it was a nice xmas film that she might enjoy watching.
We watched it together and she was enthralled by it, so much so that she has watched it three more times since on her own ( Sky repeats more than pickled onions ;) )
It's a shmaltsy, sentimental film but there you go.

My personal favourite is the 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation ' film, with Chevvy Chase, i'm a sucker for happy endings !, cant help it.

For once they did a brilliant job with a remake Latch, we as a family love both the old and new versions, Dickie Attenborough was superb in the remake and I now believe its true:lol:
