Wasn't thousands going to the game on bikes part of Bill's travel plan for Kirkby? If it's good enough for Bill it's good enough for the rest of us proles!

There was a transport poll on kipper back in the day that suggested using Knowsley Safari Park as a park and ride with Elephants ferrying pissed up blues to the Tescodome. Hot air balloons and parachutes too. It was a well thought out piece of work.
