Strange how he went Anfield on his uncle Cyril’s bike but got the bus to Goodison, his uncle must have been a red that’s why he never went to Goodison and I don’t think Billy Boy went to Goodison either because he was a red as well, mind you doubted he ever went to either of these grounds but I believe he had a hand in starting that paper you used to be able to buy in Blackpool “ Billy’s Weekly Liar” I think he wrote most of the articles in it as well.

My old fella tells me the fans used to pay to park their bikes in the surrounding streets around Goodison late 1940's/1950's and they must have made a bomb out of it!!!
