Favourite away ground

JelavicBrate2

Player Valuation: £10m
What's your favourite away ground? Mine is probably Sunderland, freindly supporters and great view. Worst away ground is City, ridiculous amount of traffic around there, overzealous stewards/police and awful atmosphere.

Always enjoyed going to Elwood Park on many occasions, especially when they gave us the Darwin end up and down stairs. Mainly on the basis we’d take the place over and pockets of blues everywhere. Only 40 mins or so to get there. Always enjoyed Sunderland away too, great club and good fans.

Wigan was good, Blackburn even better right off motorway. Last time I went there we won 1-0 Arteta scored last minute penalty.

Never been Palace, so I can't comment on Selhurst Park. Been to other grounds in London like.
Always enjoyed the London away days (Upton park always a lively one), don’t go away very much anymore but they where always great early start away days on the train, the sound of cans being cracked open at 7 am!

Think it was 2001 I managed a bucket list of every home and away game, wouldn’t have the the time, energy or money these days lol. Those who still do, hats off to them.

in liked going here - big all allocation
and not far! ( blackburn )

Needless to say, a great affection for Goodison. Been many times with my lad who first went when he was a wide eyed 8 year old and now his own son has been. Lovely stuff.
Others; Highbury, Fulham, Norwich, Portsmouth, the old White Hart Lane, Villa and both Sheffields are all favourites.

Villa Park.

Traditional style ground and saw my first Everton goal there. Sheedy.

Also seen us get beat 6-2 mind.
Bommie night if I remember correctly, that white and grey striped away kit? Didn’t go but remember it well. Some crap games fester many years later ..

Not many decent aways nowadays, where you get huge allocation like Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn, Boro and Sunderland.
