The bloke wins trophies, forget the past and move on and people need to stop being so childish and wake up to the benefits of appointing him.

Absolutely.

Of all the candidates on our radar he is clearly the best one.

For me it's a easy- let's get Rafael in and start winning things

I'm sure he would take it if he had no job, would you rather be successful or be more concerned about the Rafael/Liverpool relationship?

It wouldn't feel right with him at the helm. Arrogant, self serving and worst of all he has a dislike of our club.

Is it worth selling out on your principles for a small chance of success? I don't think so.

Dalglish is free isn't he?

He'd never accept the job, because he's lurking like a bad smell, waiting to jump into Rodgers job.

How can you know that he has a dislike for our club? Because he managed the Kopites? Because he called us a small club? Time to forgive and forget and try and not live in the past to make yourself look childish IMO.

And I think Rafael would bring a completely new dimension at EFC with every chance of success.

Yeah a small one.

As if he'd take a job which offers him little or no chance of adding trophies to his CV.

Because that is all he is interested in.

Not convinced, that squad still needs major investment and the money won't be forthcoming.

I don't like Benitez and I never will. He's a Liverpool fan waiting for the job of his dreams again, I'd rather he didn't use us in the mean time for his own gains. As I said, football's not just about winning trophies.

Also, bare in mind that he had any ounce of decency he'd turn down the job out respect for Liverpool fans.

So when a manager gets appointed he won't win trophies? What's up with a manager wanting trophies to add to his CV?

Benitez thought the conditions at Liverpool were too tough because he wasn't allowed to spend £20m on Gareth Barry. He wouldn't last five minutes at Everton, and I wouldn't want him anyway.

Couldn't really give a toss about the Liverpool job mate, Rodgers will be there for the next 5 years at least.

But money has been the issue for years, that's why we need a good manger with a good winning mentality and Rafael ticks all the boxes.

This really people forget about his transfer dealings.
