Just watched an interesting documentary on the BBC catch up channel.
Looking at the alt-right in the USA, and their opponents. Very much a case of old wine in new bottles.
Scary, but predictable nonsense being spouted about 'global conspiracies' (Jews)
eugenics, and America's white population being under 'threat of extinction'.
Most of their public rallies end up in scraps with the anti-fascists, but it is their growth and influence on the internet which seems more worrying.
Several hate inspired murders and mass shootings, perpetrated by sad and impressionable loners, undoubtedly influenced by these white supremacist websites.
Trump's influence on these groups is explored, and he is definitely guilty of pouring petrol on the fire.
Interestingly, from my perspective, many on the anti-fascist side don't come out of this looking too good themselves.

I agree, it seems to be pushing ethnic homogeneity rather than fascism, although it will appeal to fascist as well. The parallels between this and some pre war nazi propaganda is so on the nose it doesn't even seem to be trying to hide it, but maybe with the audience its attempting to capture there isn't any room for subtlety or nuance.

tommy is busy outing panorama and the BBC at the moment .
I don't know how this popped up on my youtube but it did the other day he seems to be very happy about it, he only holds my attention for a minute or so before i think what a tit, so not sure really what it was about.
