All this positivity is unheard of, genuinely in shock a bit that we've got a billionaire at the helm, potentially another billionaire on the periphery somewhere, money to spend left right and centre, a new waterfront stadium a genuine possibility and not just a pipe dream...making huge statements all over the show...

Feel like I'm going to wake up from a coma in a minute and Kenwright and Martinez will have us down in League 2 fighting it out with Pompey for the last relegation spot. If so, leave me in the coma.

Finding it really quite unsettling. With you on that last part - keep expecting it to be the most detailed dream in history.

I'm almost too scared to ask, and definitely too lazy to read back, but what's going on? Are we about to set out on world domination?

Are we now standing on the edge and about to enter the land of the giants?

I know our new owner in waiting has a few quid, but from what I have been able to so far uncover (and I'm no expert), he is very rich but not filthy rich. If you take everything reported at face value then the conclusion I have reached is that either he will run out of money in September, or something else is going on. So......

A. He's got a few billion down the back of the sofa.
B. He's a nutter.
C. Someone in the background (Usmanov).
D. Mornington Crescent.
E. I am dreaming this.

Or he could be plowing his own money in in the hope we become a success on and off the pitch again. The likes of man city, Chelsea, arsenal are worth at least 3 times what we are at the moment. There's money there to be made if someone puts the money in and gets us back to the top. Moshiri is the man!

What I don't get is, say you have 7-10 (take 8 as ex) players on 100k a week. That's 166 million a year just for those players. PLUS all the other players and staff that have to be paid. How can that be possible, even for a billionaire.

Something doesn't add up. I know the idea is to make money and ofc it's 166 million - profits. But still.

edit: oh and that's net! Not gross!

Moshiri is laying the ground work, there has to be another investor involved here, 100%.

All this talk of Usmanov not being able to sell his shares is pure opinion and conjecture, like Usmanov is some two bit multi billionaire who won't have every angle covered.

It is my opinion Kroenke would buy his shares, which he offered to do in 2011 and Usmanov turned him down.

£100,000 is 5 million a year x10=50 mill.
