I’m more convinced than ever that his Benitez appointment finally caused the Mad House to crumble. More specifically, Brands was the man with the diplomacy to hold the disparate parts together until Benitez forced him out.
Brands departure was celebrated by many but it could’ve been a catastrophe.

Yes but I doubt anyone will offer what he wants for a championship club. He needs to lower his asking rate and he can have no complaints. The clubs value is going down due to his own poor decisions
