think from what i understnd that it'd breach prem rules mate, no chance his brother will/can buy the rs, @The Esk can probably explain why a lot better than i can[/QUOTE

Under normal circumstances you are probably 100% correct.....But this is Liverpool football club you are talking about now pal and rules are meant to be ignored / changed. Don't rely on normal rules and regulations, believe me they could change their name to Sheik & Vac and they would be believed by the FA, just so the RS could gain advantage.

so far the early days of the moshiri era has been very underwhelming despite repeated hints of good things to come.
waited to long to sack martinez, dragging out appointing his replacement and now handing out 2 yr contracts to injury prone drink drivers.

No, because Kroneke has already said he wants to pass Arsenal on to his family once he pops off, Usmanov has no chance of ownership.

Just as Kroenke has said he will pass his shares onto future generations so has Usmanov said exactly the same thing. Why is Kroenke getting your benefit of the doubt but not Usmanov?

I do believe Moshiri will bring another owner/investor but why does it have to be Usmanov ?
Worldwide there are plenty of extremely wealthy people who would like to have an involvement in the Premiership.
In the last couple of weeks alone both Villa and Swansea have been sold.

Yep I judge people by their actions and so far, Moshiris actions stink of stale urine.

You stink of stale urine...

You don't know nish about what Moshiri has been up to.

I and others move in different circles to you..

Utter poppycock.

So far hes :

Delayed sacking an underperforming manager
And
???????????

Oh yeah, given a 2 year contract to a barely fit player that knocks people over in his car and rams into petrol pumps.

I appreciate that his Nazi style propaganda is sucking in the Soccer AM loving side of our fanbase, so you keep mixing in those circles, say hiya to Tubes for me.

@The Esk I know just before Martinez was sacked you started mentioning a lot of things about what Moshiri was starting to do behind the scenes and how we will be a totally different animal in the coming months and years. I've noticed now a few journalists pick up on this ( Phil McNulty mentioned it immediately at the end of the season when alluding to the fact that Moshiri had high aims for targeting managers ) and the Telegraph article a couple of days ago was singing from the same hymn sheet.

I just wondered if a few people within the media are getting told snippets as yourself and to just release things slowly and also do you think Moshiri will be the type to come out ( let's say when Koeman gets confirmed and maybe the DoF or stadium plans ) and address the fans and press with his plans/decisions or do you think he will be the quiet type?

Not that it means anything of course in the grand scheme of things but it's been really interesting reading what you have said before Martinez was rightly sacked and how things are unfolding, such as you were adamant Koeman was his first choice and I remember thinking he must be 4th or 5th choice.

Things are changing, the media are picking up on some things but there's still so much to be answered.

Apologies for the long post lol

Are we meant to be playing high stakes hide and seek? Or searching for the right wardrobe to take us into Narnia?[/QUOTE]

Thanks, a very interesting post.

There's very little coming out of official channels currently and that's causing the professional journalists a bit of a problem. Because Everton have not been "headline material" for many years, there's a lack of depth in relationships between the press and people connected with Everton. Yet the journalist know there's something brewing in L4 but are finding it difficult to keep up with events.

Thus "unofficial" relationships and contacts are leading the story here, and the press follow on behind.

I doubt very much that Moshiri will formally make much more public, he'll be happier doing rather than talking. Over time and with better press facing personnel/PR the situation will change and the narrative will be driven through usual channels.

In the meantime we should as a club continue to shock those that use conventional media for their information and news.

It really does seem Moshiri will be the low profile type. Probably one of the reasons why he will keep BK around for awhile to be the face of the club so to speak while he will make things happen in the background. The if there is another investor that comes in from outside to work with Moshiri then I wonder if it would be someone who would take more of a front seat in the face of the media.

In regards to what is going out in the media. I was curious whether the club tests the information they let out through contacts etc. and see what happens with it. I find it interesting that reports of how much the summer transfer kitty is going to be have been out for weeks and then suddenly a paper puts out a report that we are going to be paying 6 figure wages recently. Also now out of the blue Gibbo signs a contract extension with no word anywhere who we might be keeping on. Have you noticed information you have been told that has come out in the media days later and if you had passed that info on or not?
