A few years down the line when we're hopefully doing really well and have a nice new waterfront stadium there'll be a few on here piping up with long emotional posts explaining how much they miss us being sh*t and how this isn't the real Everton.

THEY WERE THE GOOD OLD DAYS LAD WHEN MARCUS BENT USED TO RUN THE CHANNELS NOT LIKE NOW WITH ALL THOSE STRIKERS SCORING GOALS AND WINNING TROPHIES. I REALLY DO MISS CHANG AS WELL CAN'T BELIEVE THEY'VE GOT RID OF IT FOR SOME DECENT BEERS IT'S A DISGRACE.

I MISS STANDING IN DOG SH*T ON COUNTY ROAD ON THE WAY TO MY RESTRICTED VIEW IN A STAND THAT'S FALLING TO BITS AND HAS WOODEN SEATS. THEMS WERE THE DAYS LAD IT'S NOT LIKE THAT ANY MORE MOSHI AND HIS MILLIONS HAVE RUINED THIS ONCE GREAT CLUB.

THEMS WERE THE DAYS OUR KID EVERYTHING'S CHANGED NOW NOT LIKE IT USED TO BE.

Regardless of the quality of the underlying business, who wants to buy 30% of an illiquid stock (in trading terms) that offers no board position or influence with the dominant majority shareholder whilst releasing the seller to create a major competitor elsewhere?
NTL will

Moshiri is a accountant and people are wondering were the money is coming from ? There is only one answer...

He is fiddling his taxes. Loopholes + Offshore accounts = Messi.

Yes that's it, we are buying Messi.

We are Evertonian's mate, nothing ever works out well for us, negativity is embedded throughout the club, until Moshiri shows us the light at the end of the tunnel then we will struggle to get rid of our mindset. The opposite mindset is referred to as 'Kopite Behaviour'.

During my 26 years on the planet NSNO has stood for No Success No Optimism. Only older folk have experienced the true meaning of our clubs identity.

Besides given last years performances a restricted view was often the place to hide... I mean watch.

These results were recently published by Doilette for the last turnover results.

Man Utd - €519.5 mil
Man City - €463.5 mil
Arsenal - €435.5 mil
Chelsea - €420 mil
Liverpool - €391.8 mil
Tottenham - €257.5 mil
Newcastle - €169.3 mil
Everton - €165.1 mil
West Ham - €160.9 mil

Moshiri has to get the finances right in the next 3 years and a new ground built, because with the RS Spurs and Chelsea expanding or moving to new stadiums and West Ham getting a freebie stadium these clubs are going to pull further away with increased matchday revenues and naming rights.
If a tin pot club like Man City can do it, we can do it.

when kroenke is forced to make a managerial change at Arsenal, does Usmanov have a say on who replaces Wenger ??? this could be the catalyst which fractures the arsenal board.

am i right in thinking Wenger has just signed a 2 year deal (not that means alot these days) if Arsenal make a bad start, then i expect their fans to really want a change.

The thing with City is they have basically a state funding behind them from the UAE,Moshiri is one guy who's finances are no where near what City have,The Mansour family are worth 2 trillion dollars with their assets and Shiekh Mansour on his own is reputed to be worth 20 billion dollars,Moshiri alone is worth 1.9 billion dollars.

They have spent just over a billion on player aquisitions since 2008 and that will be rising the next 3 seasons with Pep in charge, their owners/state have also spent hundreds of millions on a Etihad stadium expansion and brand new Etihad training ground/academy/campus and the rejuvenation in the surrounding area around of the Etihad, and it has not even put a dent in their owners finances.

City also have commercial revenues of 173 million pounds with most of it coming from owner/state linked deals from Etihad Etislat Aabar Arabtec and AbuDhabiTourism.

City are on another level financially, let's hope those rumours about Mansour's brother Shiekh khalifa buying the RS are BS as well.

think from what i understnd that it'd breach prem rules mate, no chance his brother will/can buy the rs, @The Esk can probably explain why a lot better than i can

OR......

the reason for Wenger still being there is that they have no replacement in mind to take over. different ideas but no front runner as they have to get the choice spot on.

So if push comes to shove, wenger will be 80 and still there until his son is qualified enough to take over lol
