Just a shame it was on talksport. Simon Jordan was ok but Jim white shutting him down for talking about business was embarrassing.

White absolutely shat his kecks when he realised they had a caller that actually knew what he was talking about, look at his panicked looks around the room in the first minute as Esk starts talking, as if to say “ffs why did you let this guy in the air?”

We all want him and the board gone, but he's right when he says the fans have played a massive part in the high turnover in managers.

That's a fact.

It’s absolutely irrelevant though? Because the managers were all frauds and we were failing anyway under all of them. The fans were also against the appointment of Benitez from day 1 but he plowed ahead regardless, so he can’t blame the fans for that one. That’s also a fact.

Probably thinking "Farhad won't like this"...

I actually thought Simon Jordan was alright. While I don't agree with his view that the board have no say, it was good to hear him lay the blame squarely at moshiri's feet.

Isn't that the case with every manager at every club? When they don't perform, the fans complain. What about all the staff that have been sacked? 2 DoFs sacked in 3 years. (well, one forced to resign)

Been saying it on here for years. If people have a problem with the board then they must also point the finger at Moshiri, because he is ultimately their boss and has the power to remove them if they’re failing. He’s been here 7 years now, he’s clearly happy with the job the board are doing and has never had any intention of changing them. Anyone who still thinks he’s just gonna spontaneously decide to sack them and replace them with competent people one day is quite simply just thick.

What's very concerning in those two minutes he's given us, he didn't offer ANY reassurance or give any confidence in that we were about to have a positive transfer window.

You'd think if we were to, that's a very obvious and key thing to mention to appease the fans.

Not good.

Simon Jordan talks a lot of sense about Everton.
What he says about Moshiri here is right, but what he will do is basically put his yes man in, then we're done even more then we already are

Yup - and there's a frustrating level of respect/reverence given to Moshiri as our owner despite all the evidence consistently shown when he's given unprepared statements that he's totally out of touch and clueless. How he blames the fans for chasing out all the managers he's brought in. Idiot.

"Mr Moshiri sir, as an experienced and clearly wise billionaire, surely you are aligned with Evertonians' best interests..."

The guy doesn't give a [Poor language removed]. He genuinely doesn't care. He bought Everton for his criminal mate and ultimate meal ticket Usmanov, and not due to any love of the game, desire to be competitive, or interest in the well being of the club, its fans, the city.

The fact he hasnt once watched us under Frank says everything, especially when he has supposedly been to an Arsenal game in that same time period
