I heard a few days back from a friend in the know that Moshiri was in Qatar negotiating a sale (I live in Doha). I posted a comment on here a few days back but felt guilty about leaking it, so I deleted it within minutes.

The stories that followed just backed that up. He's not here to look at stadiums and visit Pickford.

Without revealing too much (if you know any more) are we talking similar to PSG or a private group?

The only thing that should concern us is Farhad staying another week, we need him gone while we are still top flight

He's part of the Qatar Royal Family so potentially via a state backed group of some sort.

Sorry mate, I don’t. The guy who told me has direct knowledge but wasn’t in a position to disclose any more details. I didn’t push it as I knew he couldn’t say. I’ll approach it again when I see him on Monday. Dying to know more myself.
