Think due to the rules Qatars owners (QSI) couldn't buy us due to conflict of interest if we ever met in any European competition.

So if there was ever any possibility of a Qatari Royal buying us they would need to either buy us themselves with their own dough or via a group/consortium.

You would imagine their royal wealth seeps into quite a few companies/investment groups.
Yeah but these people find ways around them rules, look at Usmanov and Everton, the whole game is bent and rigid at the higher levels

The more serious investment/takeover interest is coming from the US isn`t it?

Can you tell us anymore in this respect, who? etc....
No, is the answer to that.
Dont forget people who do business at them levels only surround themselves with a very trusted inner circle, thats why we had zero prior knowledge of Moshiri coming and we have zero knowledge on whats going on as far as him selling goes, for all we know in that photo in that meating, there could be contracts on the table to the right of the camera, we have no idea.
Besides Everton is a bit of a tight closed shop now, which is one reason why so many fans get a bit frustrated, the wall of silence, but we only have ourselves to blame for that

One vile man that, you can tell by the company he keeps

Doubt he'll be buying the club himself if anything in it.

He's part of the Qatar Royal Family so potentially via a state backed group of some sort.

@catcherintherye

Yes that guy would likely form part of a consortium.

It is a bit of a warning though, when people talk of like a Saudi/Qatar takeover of Liverpool. Theres a big difference between a wealthy individuals, and the sovereign arm of their governments buying a club.
