Wrong time wrong place mate. You needed to be in the Former Soviet Union in the 90s - the period when *ahem* "entrepreneurs" like Usmanov and Abramovic were *ahem* "creating" loads of value from *ahem* "liberated state assets", aided and abetted by *ahem* "security consultants" from Spetsnaz and other *ahem* "market oriented" gentlemen from Mother Russia's military machine.
hmm...no wind up there clearly...

why can't you just drop it mate and be happy?

Not even gonna pretend I've any idea what's going on here.

I'll give the man a chance but his statement seems a bit contrived, he's obviouly googled Everton with bits of our history thrown in there, but vauge statements of intent as welcome as that intent is, isn't going to wash it at Everton. We need clarity and action.

I'm prepared to be patient mind, but find that statement a bit of a media crafted blurb.

I am happy. Money in from a major player

Sound.

So, serious question, without you going into popcorn mode, would it be fair to say that Moshiri's short statement has reassured you somewhat ?

Obviously there's a difference between words and actions, but things are looking pretty positive with Moshiri on board ?

I read it as: "I do the heavy lifting of financing and strategy; Kenwright and Elstone run the core business".

Take Elstone out of the equation and that's not a bad way to run a club.

Words are cheap though.

Im quite pleased its been a bit quiet tbh. Worst thing is there could have been a lot razzmatazz, saying we are going to do this, win this etc etc. Other clubs /fans hate us for buying success. Keep us under the radar and see what happens

Nice that Len Deighton has agreed to ghost write your posts from now on Dave ! But seriously, you're near enough right......
