Its all personal wealth mate even if its liquid cash or tied up in investments.

For him he can just use letters of guarantee or credit from banks against his wealth to pump cash into us.

If i was him i think id borrow against my investments....build a stadium and put in a couple hundred million on players and watch ths value of the club grow + with sponsors etc and branding as well as performance on the field of course matched by tv revenues he could make it all back anyway.
Impressive Zatara.

Him being a football lover, I can see something like this occurring.

I'm kinda getting this sponsorship thingy now...

arsenal = emirates

maybe the mosh will get us an airways sponsor like he had at Arsenal.....

can hear jeff stelling now, theres been a huge goal at Everton ... lets head to .... the RYANAIR ARENA!

Hah brilliant mate
Easy Jet or FlyBe Park

Surely he or a co-investor would prefer to buy as many shares as possible before making any major investments. A major investment now means that the other shareholders will have won the lottery (for investing nothing) and to then buy them out would cost far more, right? This is why I don't think anything major (like new stadium) will happen until he or a co-investor have acquired the whole club.

Maybe everything has all ready been agreed, and the price for any future buying of shares has been set at the price he bought his 49.95 at.

I think you are totally correct mate which is why initially we are unlikely to see major funds flowing into the club.

I would imagine by the summer he will have acquired a significantly larger holding, leading to a complete purchase or new investors coming alongside.

Wasn't there a rumour of precisely that a few months back, with Bill releasing upon certain criteria being met?

So in reality as I feared nothing has really changed has it? I keep getting told to stop being paranoid etc but in the cold light of day until he acquires more shares things are basically status quo

Logically it seems almost inevitable that this will happen. Still, I guess until we see it in action I'm going to be feeling a mixture of anxiety/nervous excitement.
