Moshiri did not intend to sack Silva today, Brands had insisted it would be the wrong decision because the club is trying to change for the long-term, mostly in terms of mindset. Because of COURSE he should have final say over the majority shareholder, despite leaving us with no decent striker or second CB or a midfield that requires Tom Davies to play. Oh, and Iwobi for £35m.

Wanted to keep for the time being, probably until the summer because yet another mid-season sacking causes more instability and makes the job even harder to sell to other managers. Doubt Silva was getting an extension or going to go into his final year. Brands doesn't want Moyes, if it is him he'll walk of that I'd bet the barn.
