I mean, his justification about it being an experiment aside, he makes some good points and he's clearly trying to draw a line under it.
He should be allowed to do so.
It's not a nice sight to see a pile on...and on this scale.
He made a mistake. He needs for others to cut him some slack to retreat from it.

Leave him the space to retreat.
He literally says “I’m not sorry.”
I was about to wade in and try to make this point.
But then he's released a statement saying it was all pre-planned, intentional, he's not sorry etc.
I do think though given the bloke doesn't have an account on here (that I'm aware of), and he isn't currently representing fans or running any type of podcast/fan media... we should perhaps draw a line under it and don't add to the pile on.
