Fail to Prepare?

Ian Ross will have you believe its Moyes - but I truly think if he had the resources he would sign some players. Remember when he picked up AJ so early on? He had funds apparently and so he acted quickly. Everything else has been dependant on season tickets or scampering for money to sort things out.

Last Jan when we got Yak, towards the end of the window and Moyes said that things had changed for us and we were able to play a bit in the market. Its too late, it needs to be for the pre-season so we can prepare for the coming season.

Whats better, wait till the last day of the window and get the players Moyes actually wants or get players in the first week he doesnt want but just so he can say he got some players in?

Or maybe just get no one in cause we don't have the money.

Whatever happens getting pissed off and whinging about our situation on here ain't gonna change a damn thing unfortunatly.

No, the only way it will change is once Kenwright is gone. People do have the power, but its a sticky situation.

I really think thats how it is. Waiting for the best. Moyes countless times has said he doesn't want to pay for a backup. Saha will be back but he is very brittle. Cahill may have to get use to his new role.

Yeah it will change when Kenwright goes.

Whther that will be for better or worse only time will tell.

But right now he is here and things are not gonna change. We have very little , if any money.

I believe Moyes (and Kenwright) are working on trying to get players in. But they have to be the right players. Quality wise and money wise, and those players are very hard to find and even harder to get into the club.

I am convinced that the moment Kenwright leaves, this club will benefit. I just don't think for him it would be a good business decision to leave now, or not until the KP is resolved.

But when he goes, there will be money available. The Moores will step back in, I am convinced of that.

Don't know about that Ghost. The climate now is tough and I can see only Chelsea and City with deep pockets. Every one else will look at us and wonder how we keep our payroll in order and still keep our position in the league. I just don't see many takeovers over the next couple of years. Perhaps, we should be glad BK hasn't gutted us for profit.

Not bad

Then you have to prepare to fail.

Simple as that.

January 1st transfer window opens. We have no fit strikers, and our record signing is on the verge of being banned for 2 games. This is the fixture list in January and the day after the window closes.

Macc (A) FA Cup
Hull (H)
Liverpool (A)
Liverpool (A) FA Cup
Man U (A)
Arsenal (H)

Do you think that maybe, just maybe it might be worthwhile pulling your ******* finger out of your arses Everton and bring in some fecking players to help with the problem?

No, well then expect to fail. At least give us supporters a fighting chance.

You may say I am moaning over nothing, and that we are on a great run. That may be so, but were tinkering on the edge of losing it. It only takes one or two players to fall down and we end up undoing some good work.

I honestly believe the people running this club have looked at the way Cahill is playing and thought, hmm, we don't need a striker.

That bench today is nothing short of a joke. Who can we bring off the bench to try and give us some inspiration? VDM? Lukas? A crock and a kid.

Its just simply not good enough. Even if we win today (which I doubt, and to be honest we shouldn't win it), then it is just papering over the cracks that the club is constantly running on empty and its not fair on the fans who are having to endure it.

Artera being missing today is a tragedy, he is the provider of opportunities for goals. We have no strikers, and we have very little in the way of creativity. Osman and Pienaar are their I know, but we all know that Ossie is hit and miss and Peanuts goes missing at the end of a game.

I'm just so damn frustrated. 25 days in and Moyes is not really expecting any resources to come in. Well that on top of the summer is just disgusting, and its time for this board to **** off out of it. Because they clearly can't run this football club.

Anyone who thinks differently?

We are doing all right atm :
Macc (A) FA Cup - WON
Hull (H) - WON
Liverpool (A) - DRAW
Liverpool (A) FA Cup - DRAW
Man U (A)
Arsenal (H)

Actually, now that soft [Poor language removed] has broken cover and volunteered a word on money for loans being in place on local radio, I think we might see one through the door in the next week. Fingers crossed for small mercies.
