Even if he could stay fit, no top 10 club would want him. Certainly no club would offer the wages he’s on here, so any move would surely involve Everton picking up half the tab. And even if a lesser club were willing, would his deluded ego accept that level?

Judging by his performances pre season he’ll be back up to Digne I would have thought.

Hopefully the club are done with him . He has made no effort to come back especially when we needed him at the end of last season and no effort into getting a connection with the fanbase . As a veteran professional who has a decent amount of England caps , this should be the least we should expect .
The only interaction he has is to drool over the good old days at his previous club . Not even a mention of Villa or Leeds .
His lack of professionalism or effort won't endear him to any clubs looking for a lazy prat stuck in the past .
