Understood, but my point is That's where he's spent most of his time with us mate - I'm glad we've got options ahead of him now, if he is fit. I wouldn't have him in the u23s.

Not a chance he's said he cant be arsed to play cos we would have cancelled his contract.

Something has obviously gone on behind the scenes. He’ll be exploiting a loophole in his contract, probably something health and safety related to do with Covid. The club are probably trying to cancel his contract but god knows what sort of legal battles they’ve become embroiled in with him and his lawyers. It will all come out at some point.

Yes the club doesn't even mention him anymore, very strange, unless he's playing the Covid card, because if it was a serious injury and it has to be for that long, the club would have surely stated it.

While some players like Siggy get on my nerves with his unwillingness to accept responsibility on the pitch , Delph's attitude makes my blood boil.
I don't think I've hated any Everton player so much since Barmby .
Lack of integrity and effort ( especially when we needed him a few months again ) really does pee me off when he's supposed to be someone young players should be looking up to .

Nah, don't think he's done enough to warrant a place in the match squad tomorrow ahead of the likes of Davies and Gylfi. I think he'll at least make the bench against Fleetwood though.
