I think the idea in August was good - an experienced midfield leader on the pitch for a reasonably low fee. The quality in his play is there - unfortunately his injury record was always the big if.

Sadly he’s brought his city form to the club - time on the treatment table as opposed to time on the pitch. Why sanction the purchase of such an injury prone player is beyond me.
