8m is no money these days, You’d have to be some player to stand out in a City midfield,
Got to be a replacement for at least 2 midfielders ie Besic and McCarthy, for the same wages and someone who’s actually won stuff, no brainier I’m afraid,

He could come off the bench for Gueye or Gomes and still get way more minutes than he got at City. He appeared 20 times out of all of the games City played this year.
