FA Cup v Imps

You're kidding right? We should just throw away somthing to be positive about and the only chance we have of silverware to focus on improving our league season and finishing one or maybe two places higher? Why on earth would we do that? If last season and the whole BFS episode proved anything it's that we're clearly not bad enough on our worst day to get relegated, we just aren't good enough to beat anyone even half decent! Frankly I'd sooner finish a couple of places lower in the table and have a good crack at the FA Cup, at least that'd be somthing to get excited about. We should be able to manage both though, we're only talking about six extra games here FFS.

I was only joking like. He needs to prioritise the cup now, but he won’t. He’ll play crabs like Jags and Davies and we will crash out in the next round after scraping past the Imps.

Thanks buddy.... my brother -in-law , now deceased toon me in more than one occasion to Goodison and to Wembley to watch the Merseyside Cup Final many moons ago. Looking forward to it... I reckon you won’t play more than 3-4 first teamers?

If we only play 3 or 4 we will beat you comfortably, if we play 7 or 8 you have a good chance.

I’m an Everton fan living in Lincoln we have to beat them coz I wouldn’t live it down with my mates. They are a good side tho so beware silva with the team you pick

They are having a good season but they´re still League 2. Blackburn beat them 4-1 earlier this year, anything less than a comfortable win for us will be worrying.

We need to concentrate on trying to get 13 more PL draws...and the safety of 40 points.
Cup games will just heap too much pressure on our lion hearts in Blue. I am a little frightened they might just ‘down tools’ if we subject them to it: probably best we avoid any cup run

Soon as we are out of the cup they can down tools, that's season over, forget the league, there's some serious rubbish down there.

I hate myself for knowing this is Andy Impey. My brain is just a collection of pointless football trivia that will never get me anywhere in life.
I went to primary school with a lad called Impey (Hamish Impey)...he used to bring whole watermelons for his lunch. I recall us all smirking on his first day when he was having a wee-wee at the urinal, and rather than just use the fly in his trousers, he pulled his entire trousers and undies down to his ankles.
I don’t remember much more about him. His dad was a share-milker who travelled around NZ to various farms, so he was only at Karaka School for a couple of years.
