PL opposition or not they have to be reasonable.

Arguably the most important pot to win - that or the league title. I'd still take that over any other pot in world football - as it was before Sky failed to rebound football, in my eyes at least. At least since european competitions had their gravitas destroyed by legions of runners-up teams and safety nets for the sake of more tv fixtures to sell.

Everton have been drawn at home to Sunderland in the third round of the FA Cup. The clash at Hill Dickinson Stadium will take place on the weekend commencing Saturday 10 January, with a date, kick-off time and ticket details to be confirmed in due course on Everton Club channels.

If they price it like that after a glut of home games in the PL days before and just after Christmas they can expect a load of empty seats.

without even looking at the other ties, a run of the mill PL v PL tie like this offers no romance of the cup TV appeal at all.
There must be 20 other ties more appealing to TV than this. So surely its a 3pm Sat job.

That's a really common sense approach unfortunately common sense often doesn't apply when it comes to football and TV scheduling.
