oh come on its a little bit more than that!

I know we belittle it when the rs win it, because at times we'd have been grateful for it, no two ways about it!

plus theres a eufa place up for grabs!

anyways if we get knocked out by chelsea you can start a thread 'league cup.... sorry...not arsed' (y)

we shouldnt be losing to teams such as oldham, no matter the circumstances but im not arsed that much, because of the way the season is going.

uefa should be priority in the cup competitions now, its league championship first, second and third.

lets not tie too many blue bows to the carling cup, it is and always has been the least of all silverwear.

please, lets not become so blind as to think otherwise.

I should take it then, if we do get to the final, that you will not be attending, nor watching on television, listening on the radio, enjoying the buildup to the match or taking any interest in it all?

thats a pretty sizable 'if' in there.

and although im not discounting my interest, it will be tempered with repercussions on league and europe form.

dont forget, ossie broke his toe in the carling cup at west ham. players have picked up bookings and fatigue, and on the back of which, we have crashed out of the FA cup.

lots of very important league games to go, not least city at goodison on saturday. thats a season shaper right there.

dont forget, everton football club is in no way flush with cash, and this is the season where league position means more in financial terms than in any other point in history.
