What's eveyones opinions on the continued use of the national stadium for Semi Finals? Today we have the farcical sight of Manchester United playing a Semi on the home ground (for a season) of another club.

You know exactly what Mourinho will be saying should the Mancs lose.

Why couldn't this have been played at the Emirates? Or even the Eithad if it was to be played up North.

I think back to 2012 when us and Liverpool had to go all the way down to London when we've got Old Trafford on our doorstep where it really should have been played. To make matters worse it was a 12.45 kick off!

Even two years ago when we played United at the same stage it easily could have been played at Man City. Ok, chances are we'd have got less tickets had those two Semi Finals been played in Manchester so that would have been the down side.

Some of my favourite Everton memories are winning FA Cup Semi Finals at Highbury, Villa Park and Elland Road in the 80s and 90s. The sooner they are back on club grounds the better.

I remember hearing when the new Wembley was about to open that all future Semis would be played there and I thought then it was very wrong and stand by that, however, as usual, money rules all in football thesedays.

Its a farce that this occurs today with the Utd Spurs Semi. No contingency plan at all should Spurs get to the Semis... either to play at Villa Park for v Northern opposition or at The Emirates or Stamford Bridge for v Midlands/Southern opposition. Of course that makes it far too easier... for the fans less travel/less expense...to even be a consideration for the arseways F.A. That said, Ive never even liked Wembley being used for the Semis and think it well dilutes the achievement of getting to the actual Final there.

It’s just a farce.

When we played united in 2009, I was 17, we’d never been to Wembley and we won... felt like we’d won the flipping thing, then we had to go back, with 50% high ticket prices and a defeat.

Your reward for winning at Wembley is to go back to Wembley.

I hear of the magic of Highbury against Southampton, I hear about Amokachi at Leeds... outside of Everton I remember giggs against Arsenal and so on, but there aren’t any magic memories of a semi final at the final venue!

Can’t wait for them to swerving Wembley when they’ve finally made enough dollar to stop this!

It really did feel like we'd won it..
Totally agree.
